Wholesale - Lead Developer (ABAP) at Luxottica Group in Port Washington, NY
Works with Business Systems Analysts to develop and/or modify ABAP dialog programs, reports, ABAP Objects, ALV reports, user exits, BADIs, SAP scripts, Smart forms, BDCs, IDOCs, Workflows and BAPI's on an ERP environment. Provides ancillary system support for applications and external systems interfaced with SAP ERP. Additionally, provides daily production support by troubleshooting SAP related issues which are related to both functional and technical programs. Coordinates offshore/remote developers to deliver projects on time and within budget. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for internal application development, providing (programming) services that support business requirements. Responsible for leading offshore/contract developers, managing their time and tasks on a per project basis. Responsible for Process programming requirements in SAP and related platforms, which include:
(Business application development, Support/Integration with purchased applications; Data file conversions, Reporting, and Application enhancements). Assist business and technical BSAs in analysis and design efforts. Provide technical application problem research and resolution. Identify and define SAP application interfaces, enhancements, and conversions. Coordinate and conduct system testing, provide process documentation. Provide go-live, hyper care and production support Follow documentation standards for all SAP Transport changes BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 8
years' experience programming in ABAP including all the basic functions mentioned above BS degree in a related field of study Hands on experience with ABAP development including dialog programs, ABAP objects, ALV reports, user exits, enhancements, BADIs, SAP scripts, BDC's and BAPI Experience working with IDOC development including inbound orders, master data IDOCS, ASN, invoice IDocs etc. Experience with ABAP proxies (web services) and working with middleware systems like SAP PI Excellent debugging skills Experience leading offshore/remote developers Experience in building project scope and budgets Excellent communication skills and should play an effective role of a team member Experience developing for SAP order to cash processes including billing Experience developing for SAP finance related functions A/R, Credit & Collections PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Additional programming experience (Java, VB/.Net). Strong business knowledge as well as functional knowledge in SAP R3. Experience on ECC 6.0 Experience with AFS (apparel and footwear) industry solution or consumer products industry Experience with CRM, BW, APO, and IS-Retail. Knowledge on CRM web UI 7.0 development (Dynpro) Agile PMP experience.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
