Cashiers are responsible for processing cash, debit, credit and check transactions using a cash register/point of purchase system.
Duties include balancing the cash register, making change, recording purchases, processing returns and scanning items for sale.
Maintaining a positive impression through excellent customer service to our customers is key! Responsibilities Process sales transactions Calculate the cost of products or services Accept payments as indicated as acceptable payments by our SOP Calculate and return change when required by the payment method Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change Answer customer questions about products or services Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts Report issues with equipment Other duties and functions as assigned Requirements Excellent work ethic and self motivated to provide excellent customer service Friendly and approachable Able to perform basic math using a register to provide accurate change to customers Must be flexible with work schedule and available weekends and holidays as scheduled Visit us online at www.
