We are currently seeking an Associate Scientist to support our growing business. This position is based out of our Port Washington - New York USA facility.

Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for providing technical support to the Pall GeneDisc Rapid Microbiology System for the Food and Beverage market and technical support for Pall Laboratory product line
Coordinate, provide and guide technical and scientific support to customers and to the sales organization.
On site SLS support for all Food & Beverage applications
Technical and scientific guidance and support to marketing and R&D
External presentations and demos at conferences, universities and/or exhibitions
Drive for new ideas and innovations
Provide SLS technical support and technology leadership for the Food and Beverage GeneDisc system and Pall Laboratory products
Take a leading role in presenting and installing the GeneDisc system and laboratory products at customer sites
Manage projects in support of customers, both internal and external, to maintain and develop new business opportunities
Assist clients with troubleshooting / technical support at customer site, by email and/or by phone
Liaise with marketing and R&D to Manage projects in support of new product development by working closely with R&D and lead alpha testing site for new applications
Assist in developing and training customers and end users
Design and develop technical based training to internal and to external clients which will include general and advance product concepts, application, instructional tools and hands on practical exercise
Write and review standard operating procedures (SOP) developed by the SLS GeneDisc team
Provide application support to sales and customers
Conduct field testing at customer site such as TFF
Work with key customers
Share project work and results through established routes within the global SLS community
Represent Pall through links to relevant associations, media publications and external presentations
Prepared to work unsociable hours and on short notice
Willingness to travel locally and internationally
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or Food Science
1 years of work experience
Preferred
Qualifications:
1-3 years' work experience

Other Requirements:
Expert knowledge in certain applications or technologies
Experience with direct sales working environment
Knowledge in PCR technology and molecular biology desirable
Excellent technical writing skills and verbal communication
Willingness to communicate and to share experience knowledge in a global network
Organized traveler with emphasis on smart travel policy
Regular meeting with sales on project and update global project database
Hold a current driving license
Hold a valid Passport

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
