Our client is a large manufacturing corporation with national presence who is looking to hire for an Accountant job in Nassau County, NY. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor s in Accounting along with two years of applicable experience. Responsibilities for the Accountant job include:
Compile and analyze financial data for general ledger entries
Provide profit and loss (P&L;) reporting for multiple departments
Track budget spending, analyze variances
Extensive interaction across the business, working with multiple operations managers
Involvement in ad hoc projects as necessary
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting
Two or more years of accounting experience; public and/or corporate experience
Strong technical aptitude, must know Pivot Tables, Lookups in Excel
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Outgoing personality and ability to work well across multiple departments
