Sales Advocate Specialist

Position Overview


NPD is looking for a resourceful professional to be a hands-on Specialist in our Sales Advocates Group.? The role requires managerial, analytical, and development experience skills.? This is a results-oriented position where accuracy and efficiency is both measured and valued.? The Specialist, Sales Advocate will be responsible for managing the Salesforce project roadmap and ensuring successful implementaiton and integration of Salesforce across Practices and Functions within the organization.? The sales advocate will create processes, best practices, lead data quality initiatives, reporting, and prioritize efforts relating to Salesforce.?


This position will be based in Port Washington, NY and supports the Director of the Sales Operations team.


Overall Responsibilities:



  • Be knowledgeable in NPD Products, Industries; Identify and qualify potential clients, and the right decision makers within client organizations

  • Manage sales activities, accounts, client contacts, and opportunities through NPD?s CRM system

  • Collaborate with team members regularly and communicate effectively and frequently; Working with Sales lead, develop compelling case studies and sales pitches, for general prospecting, or customized to a client?s needs and objectives;? Create and maintain sales and marketing materials and templates including text, charts and graphics.

  • Become expert in NPD?s longitudinal data mining platforms to expertly be able to retrieve and activate data points most suitable for client pitches;? Use to illustrate and tell stories to bring Checkout to life for pitches/sales/marketing efforts; Write clear, organized and visually-compelling proposals describing methodologies, solutions and cost quotations to meet client needs.

  • Work directly with marketing counterparts to develop targeted marketing campaigns to prospects for tradeshows, product launches, webinars, awareness etc.? Describe the benefits and differentiators of Checkout?s longitudinal view into consumer behavior both compellingly and persuasively.

  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging existing networks, and building/maintaining relationships with the new clients

  • Support all departments in implementing our best practices globally

  • Help create efficiencies in working with the Business Development Team

  • Provide ongoing feedback and suggestions on improving the sales process model

  • Not an order taker ? know Checkout?s capabilities and client nuances well enough so as to make clear recommendations and decisions as to how to best use the data to enhance sales stories.

  • Liaison across NPD functions, working to bring in Commercial, Industry experts, Checkout CD as appropriate.

  • Attend sales meetings and presentations as needed

  • Ecommerce dashboard demos as needed


Qualifications:



  • BA; plus 1-3 years experience of successful sales and business development experience

  • Strong communication skills thorough email, phone and in-person meetings

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging presentations

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, and great attention to detail

  • Expertise in all MS Office (Strong Excel, Powerpoint, Word)

  • Experience in Salesforce

  • Problem solver; inquisitive

  • Collaborative; reliable

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
