Job Summary
Working as a Chef Manager you will oversee daily foodservice operations in a corporate location. You will establish and maintain systems and procedures for the ordering, receiving, storing, preparing and serving of food and related products, as well as menu planning and development including catering events within the location.
The Chef Manager ensures that requirements for appropriate sanitation and safety levels in respective areas are met and coordinates and supervises unit personnel regarding production, quality and cost control; labor scheduling and staffing; team member training. Oversee the performance of unit including budget development, sales and profitability
You will also be responsible for daily interaction and development with the client and client's customers and/or team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering and receiving
Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
Possesses a passion for sustainability
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of Associate?s degree in Culinary Arts
Must have a working knowledge of HACCP
Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
Experience with exposition cooking needed
Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
Proficient in MS Office
ServSafe certified is a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
