Sales Account Manager/Government Sales

Join a dynamic sales team in our Port Washington office:
Business Hours Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Duties:
Utilize sales planning tools and the pipeline management process to obtain business objectives and goals.
Penetrate existing client base and increase revenue.
Make phone calls within an assigned territory to develop relationships with new customers.
Meet minimum standards for calls, quotes and sales quotas.
Develop sales plan to build personal book of business.
Lead sales at the Federal, State, and Local level within the assigned territories to achieve annual growth objectives, converting prospects into customers.
Prepare, submit, and administer bids, including pricing/quoting, ordering units, invoicing, account follow-up, and submitting appropriate reports to government agencies.
Administer and promote full utilization of the MRO Programs by evaluating MRO competition, establishing competitive discounts and providing potential accounts to the field organization.
Qualifications:
Requires bachelor's degree in business or marketing or at least 2 years of telephone business to business sales experience.
Knowledge and competence in the major elements of inside sales including cold calling, business development, customer qualification, and customer acquisition.
Superior sales planning and business development skills.
Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
Strong computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and CRM Software.
Self motivated with superior problem solving and negotiation skills.
Effectively prioritize sales efforts and activities.
Excellent organization and time management skills are essential.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
