Vice President, Loan Processing Manager   Our client, in business for 90 years, is a vibrant growing regional community bank which provides good old-fashioned personal service with a smile, a throw-back to the days of hospitality and good manners which barely exists anymore in banking.   They are currently seeking an experienced Loan Processing Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Bank's Loan Processing operation based in Nassau County.   Duties and Responsibilities: Manage a staff of ten (10) employees, including hiring, counseling, training and performance reviews. Oversee all loan operations for Residential and Commercial Real Estate, Home Equity, Consumer Installment and Secured Products, and Small Business portfolios. Loan Operations functions include: Boarding and review of new loans, Loan Closings, Customer Service for Loan Originations, Loan Purchases for CRA, Insure new loan input is accurate and complete, Quality Assurance reviews of all documentation and processing, All Lending Compliance, HMDA reporting Manage and verify all quality control reports, policies and procedures. Manage and control all loan accounting, balancing and reconciliation. Monitor and maintain any required monetary and non-monetary issues. Insure all requiredloan information is accurately reflected in our core processing system, and in compliance with FHLB, Federal Reserve for collateral liquidity pledging. Establish loan operational processes and procedures.  Insure staff members adhere to established policies, procedures and controls. Effectively allocate job responsibilities amongst staff members, insure that all target areas are being maintained and avoid duplicated and manual efforts. Handle loan inquiries on loan status and reply in compliance with standard turnaround times Perform other projects and duties as assigned.   Requirements: 5+ years loan operations management experience in a high production environment.  Bachelor Degree highly preferred  Ability to define problems and propose solutions. Effective oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior management, clients, outside vendors, and the general public. Ability to effectively direct staff, supervise and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes. Strong knowledge of and experience with lending regulations and loan products, including residential mortgages (through direct and wholesale channels), home equity, consumer and small business credit scored products (through direct channels) and servicing of C&I and commercial mortgages. Critical thinking and strong analytical skills to assess and resolve operational and service issues.   Excellent organization and communication skills; interact effectively with senior management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and Internet) ; prior experienceworking withloan data base system preferred    Compensation:        Salary $80 - 90K        World class benefits DAY ONE!        Generous PTO        Company paid pension plan        401K with a match        Tuition Reimbursement

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
